US 'victory' against cult leader was 'massacre'

By Patrick Cockburn in Baghdad | The Independent

There are growing suspicions in Iraq that the official story of the battle outside Najaf between a messianic Iraqi cult and the Iraqi security forces supported by the US, in which 263 people were killed and 210 wounded, is a fabrication. The heavy casualties may be evidence of an unpremeditated massacre.

A picture is beginning to emerge of a clash between an Iraqi Shia tribe on a pilgrimage to Najaf and an Iraqi army checkpoint that led the US to intervene with devastating effect. The involvement of Ahmed al-Hassani (also known as Abu Kamar), who believed himself to be the coming Mahdi, or Messiah, appears to have been accidental.

The story emerging on independent Iraqi websites and in Arabic newspapers is entirely different from the government's account of the battle with the so-called "Soldiers of Heaven", planning a raid on Najaf to kill Shia religious leaders. More...

Here We Go Again - Pentagon leaks 'proof positive' against Iran

WakeUpFromYourSlumber

This isn't even funny. These bastards are pulling the same tricks they pulled before Iraq.
As far-fetched as a war with Iran seems to cooler heads in Washington, the Bush administration yesterday turned up the heat.

On the same day that the president told National Public Radio that he will “respond firmly” if Iran “escalates its military action in Iraq,” Pentagon officials leaked what they called “proof positive” of Iranian involvement — telling CBS News correspondent David Martin about Iranian serial numbers discovered on explosive devices powerful enough to pierce the armor of American tanks in Iraq.

Jafarzadeh and the Downing Street Dossier Redux

KurtNimmo.com

Is it possible we are stupid enough to fall for it again?

“US officials in Baghdad and Washington are expected to unveil a secret intelligence ‘dossier’ this week detailing evidence of Iran’s alleged complicity in attacks on American troops in Iraq. The move, uncomfortably echoing Downing Street’s dossier debacle in the run-up to the 2003 Iraq invasion, is one more sign that the Bush administration is building a case for war,” reports the Guardian.

Iran, Israel, The Big Lie and The Real Threat

By Frank Scott | InformationClearingHouse Blog

"Attempting to portray Iran as a nuclear menace to Israel and the world, in that order, even though it has no nuclear weapons and Israel has hundreds, is not merely a sign of dementia. It is indication of near idiocy in a society that can be repeatedly manipulated into believing such totally crackpot notions that have no foundation in the material world but exist only in a world of superstitious psycho-fantasy."

George W. Bush: Gambler Who Has Run Out of Luck

By William Waack

Brazil - O Globo - Original Article (Portuguese)
Translated By Brandi Miller

An antiwar protester poses as President Bush in front of the U.S. Capital Saturday, Jan.27.

The current president is a "gambler," a risk taker with faith - above all in himself - that has run out of luck. And at the moment of defeat, Bush is becoming even more dangerous, raising the stakes when everyone else reckons it's time to back away from the table. His last set of commands suggests that he sees Iran as the main instigator of the immense difficulty of "pacifying" Iraq. Bush's instructions that "Iranian agents" should be treated like Iraqi insurgents - that is, shoot first and ask questions later – will not be decisive to the current military situation, but it is instructive of what is going on in the brain of the man who is still the world's most powerful.

Stubbornness and self-confidence can be decisive characteristics in times of adversity, or the ultimate prescription for failure - depending on how discerning those that make and implement decisions are. In other words, it depends on that thing that is so difficult to define: vision. Bush is stubborn, without the least bit of greatness or the capacity of comparative discernment of past leaders, who at various times, have found themselves isolated and confronted by impossible tasks. America Preparing to Strike Iran from the Balkans?

by Gabriel Ronay – Sunday Herald January 28, 2007

President Bush is preparing to attack Iran's nuclear facilities before the end of April and the US Air Force's new bases in Bulgaria and Romania would be used as back-up in the onslaught, according to an official report from Sofia.

"American forces could be using their two USAF bases in Bulgaria and one at Romania's Black Sea coast to launch an attack on Iran in April," the Bulgarian news agency Novinite said.

Rockefeller Admitted Elite Goal Of Microchipped Population
Hollywood director Russo goes in-depth for first time on the astounding admissions of Nick Rockefeller, including his prediction of 9/11 and the war on terror hoax, the Rockefeller's creation of women's lib, and the elite's ultimate plan for world population reduction and a microchipped society

Paul Joseph Watson | Prison Planet

Hollywood director and documentary film maker Aaron Russo has gone in-depth on the astounding admissions of Nick Rockefeller, who personally told him that the elite's ultimate goal was to create a microchipped population and that the war on terror was a hoax, Rockefeller having predicted an "event" that would trigger the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan eleven months before 9/11.

Rockefeller also told Russo that his family's foundation had created and bankrolled the women's liberation movement in order to destroy the family and that population reduction was a fundamental aim of the global elite.

Arrest Madman Dershowitz Before It’s Too Late

KurtNimmo.com

In the video below, Allen Dershowitz threatens to unleash World War Four under false pretense.

Dershowitz makes a direct threat against a sovereign country that has not invaded or threatened Israel, although Israel recently invaded a neighbor, killed over a thousand people, dispensed a million cluster bombs, used phosphorus bombs, and targeted children, war crimes all.

Dershowitz makes baseless and irresponsible claims about nuclear weapons and genocide, and then suggests killing thousands, possibly millions of people.

As this racial supremacist diatribe reveals, Allen Dershowitz threatens to hold the entire world responsible for the actions of Iran, although of course Iran has done nothing (except hold a Holocaust conference) and has no intention of invading or harming Israel. More...

Suicide Bomber in Eilat: Blame al-Qaeda

KurtNimmo.com

Just in the nick of time, as the US, Israel, and the “moderate” Mahmoud Abbas were about “to renew long-stalled peace talks,” a suicide bomber attacks a bakery in the Israeli resort town of Eilat.

Knesset Member Arieh Eldad, characterized as “right-wing” by Israel Insider (Eldad is a Revisionist Zionist, that is a Jabotinskyite, a would-be ethnic cleanser of the Moledet stripe), said he hoped the attack would “bring sanity back to all those who call for negotiating with Hamas and strengthening Abbas,” who is of course entirely unacceptable, even if a pathetic groveler.

The Unraveling of Dick Cheney

By Dan Froomkin | Special to washingtonpost.com

While Dick Cheney undoubtedly remains the most powerful vice president this nation has ever seen, it's becoming increasingly unclear whether anyone outside the White House believes a word he says.

Inside the West Wing, Cheney's influence remains considerable. In fact, nothing better explains Bush's perplexing plan to send more troops to Iraq than Cheney's neoconservative conviction that showing the world that we have the "stomach for the fight" is the most important thing -- even if it isn't accomplishing the things we're supposed to be fighting for. Even if it's backfiring horribly.

Ilan Pappe and the Nakba Deniers
The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine

By JOHN WHITBECK | Counterpunch.org

For anyone who possesses a strong stomach and an equally strong desire to know the truth, I strongly recommend Israeli historian Ilan Pappe's new book "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine", which makes painstakingly and painfully clear the extent to which the expulsion of the great majority of Palestinians from their homes and homeland between 1947 and 1949 (an expulsion absolutely essential to create a "Jewish state" in a country where, in 1947, the population was still 70% Muslim and Christian and these non-Jews still owned 94% of the land) was meticulously planned, programmed and documented, ruthlessly carried out and, thereafter, efficiently covered up, sanitized, erased from minds and memories and, to the extent necessary, denied. Pappe also makes clear that the cleansing spirit and cleansing practices have continued ever since, with public discussion in Israel of the "demographic threat" posed by those Palestinians still remaining in Palestinian never more openly conducted and with a recent poll showing 68% of Israeli Jews in favor of expelling all Palestinian citizens of Israel. US Plans To 'Fight The Net' Revealed

From influencing public opinion through new media to designing "computer network attack" weapons, the US military is learning to fight an electronic war.

The declassified document is called "Information Operations Roadmap". It was obtained by the National Security Archive at George Washington University using the Freedom of Information Act.

Infowars Exclusive: 7/7 Bus Bomb Survivor Describes "Agents" At Scene In Immediate Aftermath
Witness claims a group of secret service operatives and intelligence officers were already inside the cordon before the bus arrived in Tavistock square.

Steve Watson & Alex Jones | Infowars.net

Daniel Obachike, the man who was on the lower deck of the number thirty bus that exploded in Tavistock Square in London on 7/7/05, has exclusively provided Infowars with a preview of a new section of his soon to be published narrative, The 4th Bomb.

Last month we detailed how Daniel's forthcoming book will claim that the Hackney bus was diverted to Tavistock Square by two unmarked cars which then left the scene at high speed after the drivers had conversed with police in the area.

"Standing by the doors I see a blue BMW 5 series and black Mercedes squeal to a halt in front of the bus, halting its progress along Euston Road. 4 minutes passed then a police motorcyclist arrived at the blockage. The BMW driver said something to the cyclist who soon sped off. 90 seconds later the BMW suddenly drives off. The Mercedes waits till the bus diverts east into Upper Woburn Place towards Tavistock Square before it speeds away."

Hegemony and Appeasement:
Setting Up the Next U.S.-Israeli Target (Iran) For Another "Supreme International Crime" 1

By Edward S. Herman and David Peterson
Still digesting their recent and ongoing aggressions in the Middle East, the Bush and Israeli regimes now threaten to attack Iran. As these warrior states cast their long shadow across the region, they find themselves aided and abetted by the Security Council, the other major powers, parties of the opposition, and the media.
"ICHBlog" -- The ease with which a supposedly independent media in a supposedly democratic society like the United States can demonize enemies and convert third- and fourth-rate official targets into major threats is almost beyond belief. And the collective amnesia of the establishment media enables them to do the same thing over and over again; they never learn, and most important never have to learn, because the collective amnesia they help instill in the society protects them against correction—an unending series of victories over memory in the exercise of "reality-control" (Orwell). This enables the media to serve as de facto propaganda agents of their state while still claiming to be independent watchdogs. More...

Former Mossad Honcho: We Are Sleep Walking Through World War Four and Don’t Even Know It

KurtNimmo.com

According to Efraim Halevy, former Mossad boss, we are astride World War Three, or as the neocons call it, World War Four, and don’t know it.

“The world does not understand. A person walks through the streets of Tel Aviv, Barcelona or Buenos Aires and doesn’t get the sense that there is a war going on,” Halevy told Yedioth Internet.

Of course, this is because the supposed world war, as hyped by neocons and Israeli Likudniks, is primarily a crass propaganda contrivance, not an actual war—except for Iraqis, Palestinians, Lebanese, and soon enough Iranians.

Thousands in D.C. protest Iraq war
'We're serving no purpose there,' says soldier's mother

Reuters

WASHINGTON – Chanting "bring our troops home," tens of thousands of anti-war protesters rallied in front of the U.S. Capitol today to pressure the government to get out of Iraq.

Veterans and military families joined some lawmakers, peace groups and actors including Vietnam war protester Jane Fonda to urge Congress and President Bush to stop funding the war and pull troops from Iraq.

"When I served in the war, I thought I was serving honorably. Instead, I was sent to war ... for causes that have proved fraudulent," said Iraq war veteran Garett Reppenhagen.

Bush denies preparing attack against Iran

By Edward Luce | FT.com

Washington -- George W. Bush on Friday sought to deny widespread rumours his administration was preparing some kind of military action against Iran. Mr Bush confirmed a report in Friday’s Washington Post that he had authorised US troops to shoot and kill Iranian operatives in Iraq, but denied this was a prelude to stronger action.

“We believe we can solve our problems with Iran diplomatically,” said the US president. “It makes sense that if somebody is trying to harm our troops, or stop us from achieving our goal, or killing innocent citizens in Iraq, that we will stop them.” More...

The "Wipe Israel Off The Map" Hoax
What Ahmadinejad really said and why this broken record is just another ad slogan for war

Paul Joseph Watson | Prison Planet

Barely a day goes by that one can avoid reading or hearing yet another Israeli, American or British warhawk regurgitate the broken record that Iran's President Ahmadinejad threatened to "wipe Israel off the map," framed in the ridiculous context that Israelis are being targeted for a second holocaust. This baseless rallying call for conflict holds about as much credibility as Dick Cheney's assertion that Saddam Hussein was planning to light up American skies with mushroom clouds.

Today it's the turn of would-be future British Prime Minister David Cameron, leader of the Conservative Party, who repeated the "wipe Israel off he map" fraud in a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, using it to qualify his refusal to rule out a military strike on Iran under a Tory government. Condi’s Middle East Junket; a new dose of cynicism

Mike Whitney | Uruknet

...the administration has no interest in resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. It’s a cynical attempt to manipulate Arab public opinion. The administration helped to enforce the Israeli boycott of food, water and medical supplies to Gaza, and they have stopped other donor-states from providing humanitarian relief. They refused to endorse the UN resolutions which condemned the Israeli bombing of the main power station in Gaza (which cut off electrical power to over 1 million Palestinians), or the targeted assassinations which repeatedly kill innocent bystanders, or the wanton murder of 18 members of the same family who were asleep in their home in Beit Hanoun.

The administration has also refused to accept the results of the Palestinian elections--which overwhelmingly supported the new Hamas parliament--even though Bush has repeatedly stated that his primary goal is to bring "democracy" to the Middle East. Instead, Bush has given $18 million to training militants in Jordan (who are members of the rival Palestinian group, Fatah) so they can return to the occupied territories and initiate hostilities against the elected Hamas government. This is being conducted under the supervision of the US intelligence agencies and with the complete knowledge and cooperation of Israeli-puppet, Mahmoud Abbas.

The message is clear: If elections do not produce the results that please Washington and Tel Aviv; expect to face "regime change" through force.

While Palestinian children were being shot in the head by Israeli snipers in Gaza, Rice was crowing about "birth pangs" for "New Middle East". And, when an entire family was blown to bits while picnicking on a beach in Gaza, Rice was proclaiming Israel’s "right to defend itself".

And, now she wants peace? More...

Lost in translation
Experts confirm that Iran's president did not call for Israel to be 'wiped off the map'. Reports that he did serve to strengthen western hawks.

Jonathan Steele | The Guardian - June 14, 2006

My recent comment piece explaining how Iran's president was badly misquoted when he allegedly called for Israel to be "wiped off the map" has caused a welcome little storm. The phrase has been seized on by western and Israeli hawks to re-double suspicions of the Iranian government's intentions, so it is important to get the truth of what he really said.

I took my translation - "the regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time" - from the indefatigable Professor Juan Cole's website where it has been for several weeks.

But it seems to be mainly thanks to the Guardian giving it prominence that the New York Times, which was one of the first papers to misquote Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, came out on Sunday with a defensive piece attempting to justify its reporter's original "wiped off the map" translation. Palestine 2007: Genocide in Gaza, Ethnic Cleansing in the West Bank

By Ilan Pappe | The Electronic Intifada

A general view of Har Homa settlement, built on the land of West Bank city of Bethlehem, and considered by Israel to be part of 'Greater Jerusalem', 29 November 2006. (MaanImages/Magnus Johansson)
On this stage, not so long ago, I claimed that Israel is conducting genocidal policies in the Gaza Strip. I hesitated a lot before using this very charged term and yet decided to adopt it. Indeed, the responses I received, including from some leading human rights activists, indicated a certain unease over the usage of such a term. I was inclined to rethink the term for a while, but came back to employing it today with even stronger conviction: it is the only appropriate way to describe what the Israeli army is doing in the Gaza Strip.

On 28 December 2006, the Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem published its annual report about the Israeli atrocities in the occupied territories. Israeli forces killed this last year six hundred and sixty citizens. The number of Palestinians killed by Israel last year tripled in comparison to the previous year (around two hundred). According to B'Tselem, the Israelis killed one hundred and forty one children in the last year. Most of the dead are from the Gaza Strip, where the Israeli forces demolished almost 300 houses and slew entire families. This means that since 2000, Israeli forces killed almost four thousand Palestinians, half of them children; more than twenty thousand were wounded. More...

Letter from a U.S. citizen addressed to the World
First let me speak to the people in Iran.

Brian Bloom | ALJAZEERA

There is a large majority of Americans who are terrified by our governments inability to hear our voices. We do not want war. Not with you, not with anyone. We admire your ancient culture and respect your religious beliefs. While our government takes steps toward instigating another illegal war, this time on your great nation, we, the majority of United States citizens, are trying everything that is in our power to prevent this.

We have recently elected new officials in Congress, which we believe and hope will stand up with us in our desires to put an end to our current administration's designs of global occupation. However, we seem to have very little say in these matters anymore. While we may scream at the top of our lungs about how we feel, write letters to our officials, protest in the streets, demand accountability for our leaders' actions, our president ignores us and continues his one-man circus act.

I wish to apologize to the people of Iran now, and assure you that we will do everything in our power to prevent our government leaders from another grave mistake in foreign policy.

Attacking Iran: What’s In It For Bush?

Initially, the Bush Regime denied that Bush’s surge speech on January 10 signaled that the Regime intends to attack Iran. Now a number of Regime officials have made it clear that Iran, not Iraq, is the focus of the Regime’s war planning. Robert Gates, the new Defense Secretary and member of the Iraq Study Group, was supposedly brought into the Pentagon to de-escalate the war. Gates now says that Iran is the target of US military moves in the Persian Gulf

Suddenly the media is full of Bush Regime propagandistic assertions designed to make the American public believe that Iran is the enemy that is fighting against our troops in Iraq. To facilitate this deception, the Bush Regime staged a propaganda event by invading an Iranian government liaison office in Northern Iraq, kidnapping the Iranian officials and declaring them to be involved in plans to kill US troops. Bush admits US added to Iraq turmoil
"(The) Iraqi people owe the American people a huge debt of gratitude."

Solomon Moore and David Savage | The Age

Washington - The US was right to invade Iraq, but choices made after the initial invasion have eroded security in the country, President George Bush said in a television interview that was to be broadcast overnight.

"I think history is going to look back and see a lot of ways we could have done things better," Mr Bush said in the interview on the CBS program 60 Minutes.

Questioned about the instability in Iraq, Mr Bush said: "Well, no question decisions have made things unstable."

But he maintained that invading Iraq in 2003 was the right thing to do.

"My decision to remove Saddam Hussein was the correct decision, in my judgement," he said.

"We didn't find the weapons we thought we would find, or the weapons everybody thought he had. But he was a significant source of instability. More...

It's All About Iran
Washington wants war...

Justin Raimondo | AntiWar.com

As American troops storm what is, or was, an Iranian consulate – at least that's what the Iraqi government calls it, in spite of American denials – and the president accuses Tehran of arming and aiding Iraqi insurgents, the answer to the question "Why are we in Iraq?" should begin to dawn on even the dullest. The answer: Iran. We're in Iraq so we can go after the mullahs in Tehran, and, perhaps, those other Ba'athists in Syria.

All indications point to a strike at the Iranians before Bush leaves office. More...

Chavez and Iran unveil anti-US fund

ALJAZEERA.net

Ahmadinejad and Chavez have strong ties and frequently call each other "brother" [AFP]
The presidents of Iran and Venezuela have agreed to spend billions of dollars to help other countries free themselves from what they describe as US domination.

Hugo Chavez announced the plan in a speech on Saturday with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The two also called for Opec to cut oil production to support falling crude prices.

They had previously announced plans to establish a joint $2bn fund for projects in Venezuela and Iran but on Saturday they said that the money would also be used to help friendly third countries.

"This fund, my brother," Chavez said, "will become a mechanism for liberation."

Chavez said the fund "will permit us to underpin investments ... above all in those countries whose governments are making efforts to liberate themselves from the [US] imperialist yoke ... Death to US imperialism." More...

The neo-cons and their task masters have drawn a major line in the sand.

Former President under attack by those who favor Israeli narrow interests over American wider goals.
America's greatest living former President Jimmy Carter is under attack by individuals who favor the narrow interests of a foreign country -- Israel -- against the wider interests of the United States.

People with names like Dershowitz, Foxman, and Lieberman are content to shed the blood of America's military men and women, not for the interests of people in Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Austin, Texas; or Corvallis, Oregon but for narrow-agenda right-wing elements in Tel Aviv, Netanya, and Jerusalem, Israel.

They and their money pipelines of the America Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) are engaged in a huge propaganda effort to immerse the United States deeper into the Iraq quagmire and fight Binyamin Netanyahu's "wet dream" wars in Iran and Syria. More...

Blair - more dangerous than ever

GeorgeGalloway.com

A Prime Minister in his dotage seeks to condemn another generation of young men and women to an early grave.

That’s how history should judge Tony Blair’s spine-chilling speech today. Oblivious to the catastrophe he and George Bush have already unleashed, Blair has announced his intention to fight to the last drop of many other fathers’ sons.

With an end-of-days zealotry that would draw whoops from the Republican right, he glibly affirmed that the current ‘war on terror’, which is already widening beyond Iraq and Afghanistan, is to last a generation.

The public, he declared, will need to get used to a “long campaign” against an ideological enemy that, bizarrely, he likened to the Communist movement of the early twentieth century. More...

Half a decade on and not a single detainee has yet been put on trial. The only trials in prospect are unfair military tribunals.

7/7 ringleader 'was watched since 2003'
The security services is bracing itself for further disclosures over Tube bombing intelligence failures

Antony Barnett | London Observer

7/7 ringleader 'was watched since 2003'
The 7 July bombers who killed 52 people in terrorist attacks in London in 2005 were once described by Britain's security service as 'clean skins'.
The vivid phrase implied that a gang of homegrown terrorists had come from nowhere, without an intelligence trail. But Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller, the director-general of MI5, is bracing herself for embarrassing revelations on the full extent of what the British intelligence community knew about the bombers, and in particular the ringleader of the attacks, Mohammad Sidique Khan. The disclosures will add to pressure for a full public inquiry. More...

Iraq War - Two lame duck leaders - George Bush and Tony Blair
Exactly how much damage can the two lame duck leaders of the USA and UK do during their remaining time in office?

By: John_York | The Market Oracle

Both recently gave the same old tired speeches about how failed policies will win the war in Iraq, when the reality is that more UK and US solider's will die and many thousands more Iraqi's whilst they stave off the real tough decisions until after they have left office.

Tony Blair is destined to leave much sooner, sometime during the next 6 months. So Tony Blair's recent speech contained much more bravado, about how little Britain needed to be able to march all of the Kings soldiers up the hill in Iraq and down the hill into Iran if need be ! Easy words as his failed policy and leadership with regards Iraq enters its final stage. Increasingly all the talk is geared to wards pressuring Tony Blair's successor, Gordon Brown to follow his failed policy. Despite the rhetoric from Gordon Brown, it increasingly looks unlikely that Gordon Brown will march down the same route. More...

Voice of the White House January 12, 2007

TBR News.org

“It should be pretty evident by now that George W. Bush is as mad as a Hatter. He not only has no intention of withdrawing troops, in the face of strong public opinion, but is going to shove more men into the slaughter house so he can proclaim what he calls ‘victory’ and have a triumphant withdrawal.

What is behind this madness? Partially, the Israelis. They have a very strong lock on Bush, and Joe Lieberman and Israel wants the U.S. to attack both Syria and Iran. Is this ideology here? Partially but massive bribery is well-known to be involved. More...

President Bush or Desperate Dan?

By tusme | Truth blog

US President George W. Bush delivered his speech on his new strategy on Iraq Wednesday evening from the White House Library.
US President George W. Bush delivered his speech on his new strategy on Iraq Wednesday evening from the White House Library.

Finally, Bush has confirmed what was always suspected, that Iran & Syria were to follow once "project Iraq" was completed...trouble is, things have not quite gone according to plan.

Appearing "calm" during his President's Address on Wednesday, Mr Bush, has become a "Desperate Dan".

Now that Mr Bush, the "war president", has confirmed an additional 20 000 US soldiers being sent to Iraq...could this be his last throw of the dice? My suspicions tell me, it is. Rather than accepting the opportunity to "right his wrongs" re, Iraq, at the very least, it seems he wants to "chance his luck" with "provoking" Iran & Syria and "instigating" Israel.

Now that Iraq's a mess, it seems the "war president" is "constructing" a Middle East policy as he goes along.

The truth is, as Mr Bush's "president's address" revealed, Iraq is a secondary issue. Iran and Syria are now the primary goal. This is evidentally, how it was always meant to unfold for the BushCo. And thats why, Mr Bush (the war president) is so determined to "stay the course" It was of-course anyway their ultimate goal!

The BushCo success will depend on two things, TRUTH and TIME...of which, they possess none!!

Keith Olbermann: Special Comment on the President’s Address

CrooksandLiars

You knew Keith was going to comment after Bush's disastrous speech last night. Most of America, many in Congress and Bush's own military leaders are against this move. I guess only the neocons matter to Bush. Being a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute seems to be more important than over 60% of the country. Keith takes it apart—bit by bit. It is surprising to see him speak out in back to back shows, but the situation obviously warranted it. More...

U.S. violates Vienna Convention status of Iranian liaison office in Irbil, Iraq. U.S. forces take Iranian diplomats hostage.

WayneMadsenReport

Bush orders U.S. forces to storm Iranian liaison office in Kurdistan removing its flag.
In a major escalation of Middle East tensions, the Bush administration authorized two U.S. Special Forces operations against the Iranian liaison office in Irbil, Iraq and took six officials assigned to the diplomatic compound hostage. It was the first such attack on an Iranian diplomatic mission in the region since August 1998 when the Taliban entered the Iranian consulate in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan and executed ten Iranian diplomats and one journalist. Ironically, in their attacks on Iranian diplomatic missions, the Bush administration and Taliban have something in common -- both governments claimed the Iranians at the missions were members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Iran rejected the charges leveled by both regimes.

In a scene reminiscent of the Iranian seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979, the U.S. confiscated documents from the Irbil office. Computers were also seized. U.S. forces also took down the Iranian flag. More...

Rocket launchers leave Philadelphia port for East Asia -- false cargo destination declaration may be involved.

WayneMadsenReport

Container ship departs Philadelphia port with rockets and rocket launchers.
An informed source has told WMR that rockets and rocket launchers were recently loaded on board a container ship at the Penn Marine Terminals in Eddystone, Pennsylvania, near Chester and south of Philadelphia International Airport. Although the cargo destination was reported to be China, based on our previous reporting on the SS Poet -- which falsely declared in October 1980 its destination as Port Said, Egypt, but, instead, transported weapons and spare parts to Iran to fulfill October Surprise promises made by George H. W. Bush to the Iranian government, the rockets and rocket launchers may be headed for a different destination, perhaps Baluchi guerrillas in Pakistan who are being stirred up by U.S. Special Forces for an impending attack on Iran.

Scaramella links to network of individuals out to bring down anti-neocon Italian politicians.

WayneMadsenReport

Italian prosecutor: Scaramella investigation is "only the beginning."
The Italian newspaper Repubblica is reporting on more details of the police investigation of Neapolitan right-wing intelligence operative and swindler Mario Scaramella. The paper is reporting on the contents of a computer file on Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi confiscated in Scaramella's office. The file was created in September 2006, during the election campaign that brought down rightist Prime Minister and neo-con Silvio Berlusconi. The document reveals that all of Prodi's associates were suspected of being Russian agents. The reporters on the story are Carlo Bonini and Giuseppe D'Avanzo, the same two journalists who uncovered details of the Nigergate fraudulent documents used by George W. Bush to justify his invasion and occupation of Iraq. More...

U.S. attack on Somalia the idea of Christian "neo-Crusaders" in Pentagon.

WayneMadsenReport

Christian soldiers marching against non-existent "Al Qaeda" in hapless Somalia.
Lt. Gen. William G. ("Jerry") Boykin, the neo-crusading Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence who once stated in uniform before a Christian fundamentalist congregation that "the god of a Muslim [Somali] warlord was ‘an idol’ and that ‘my God was a real God," reportedly ordered an attack on chiefly Muslim Somalia as a way of helping his fellow neo-Crusaders in the Ethiopian embassy in Washington. Boykin, his fellow Pentagon fundamentalists, and Ethiopian diplomats are heavily involved in the activities of the Christian Embassy, an entity that seeks to convert U.S. and foreign military officers, top politicians in the U.S. and abroad, and foreign diplomats and their wives who are assigned to Washington. It is expected that Boykin will soon follow his boss, arch-neo-con Stephen Cambone, out of the Pentagon soon as part of Defense Secretary Robert Gates' housecleaning. More...

Corporate media downplaying Scaramella/Litvinenko CIA links.

WayneMadsenReport

Scaramella importance being downgraded by the corporate media.
A recent article in the New York Times-owned International Herald Tribune is trying to paint Alexander Litvinenko associate Mario Scaramella, now under arrest in Italy, as a phony, a virtual "magliaro napoletano" who sells St. Peter's Square to unwary American tourists, who, through his charm or guile, managed to establish formal relations with Filippo Marino, the Florida-based associate of CIA veteran Louis Palumbo; CIA Milan station chief Robert Seldon Lady, now wanted by Italian police with a number of other CIA agents for kidnapping an Egyptian Muslim cleric from a Milan street in 2003; NATO headquarters in Brussels; the International Maritime Organization; the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; various universities; and the Fucino Space Center in Italy. The Zionist Occupation of Iraq
Is the "War in Iraq"

by Christopher Bollyn

General Mark Kimmitt in Iraq with his Zionist handler, Dan Senor

The Zionists use the foolish American military to destroy Iraq's government.

Meanwhile, the Zionists get control of Iraq's resources and quietly kill the troublesome Iraqis, such as those with intelligence or useful skills.

The Zionists also set up and kill the Iraqis who try to become policemen.

The "reconstruction" of Iraq is a hoax. The Zionists are taking over, not reconstructing. The Americans are fooled over and over and over.

A Personal Message
From Jeff Rense

Rense.com

Rense.com and the Jeff Rense Program have always been steadfastly Pro-Jewish...and Anti-Zionist, and certainly anti-Neocon, most of whom are Zionists with dual loyalty and many with dual Israeli citizenship. The following video points out in searing detail the reasons for our position and our many years of fighting for the rights of Jews and all Americans.

In this stunning video, you will see honorable, loving people of the Jewish faith trying to exercise their God-given right to Freedom of Speech by which they seek to explain the monumental differences between True Judaism and ZIONISM.

You will then see the hideous face of the death-dealing philosophy and pathological control mania of the Zionist. This Zionist not only calls for the removal of Freedom of Speech for his fellow Jews but calls repeatedly for their MURDER...after which their "bones should be pissed upon." More...

British MP Asking More Questions About Bilderberg
This time the next Prime Minister is the focus

Steve Watson | Infowars.net

A British MP, who previously asked Prime Minister Tony Blair to reveal details of any Bilderberg meetings he has attended, has now officially asked the current Chancellor of the Exchequer, and most likely next Prime Minister, to reveal details of his own attendances at Bilderberg.

Norman Baker, MP for Lewes, has officially requested that Gordon Brown provide an oral or written answer to the following question:
Norman Baker (Lewes): To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, in which years since 1997 (a) he and (b) other Treasury Ministers have attended meetings of the Bilderberg Group.
The question has been officially submitted and it will now take a few weeks before it is answered in the House of Commons. More...
